Over the course of several months, further online research was conducted. We were broadening our contact base, and learning more about the overall phenomenon. We joined several Facebook groups, that created discussion forums for all-things unidentified and connected to their YouTube pages as well, to review their in-the-field video captures.
We reached out to master skywatcher, Alison Kruse, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From 2010-2013, Pittsburgh experienced a ‘flap’ of sightings and Alison was at the center of it!
Alison’s UFO video catalogue is distinguished not only for the volume of material presented, but for the quality of the optical systems used. Alison has invested thousands of dollars of her own money to finance the purchase of optimized third generation night vision monocular and broadcast series HD camcorder systems to produce documentation from her back porch and surrounding neighbourhood.
We had the opportunity to meet and discuss with Alison many of her experiences and video captures. She also introduced and schooled us in the world of night vision recording (using start-up Gen 1 equipment). One of our expedition highlights was experiencing and recording, all in real time, one of these ‘fake planes’ emerging and circling above an area where old coal mines used to operate. It was even more information for the ever growing file on what kind of energy source could possibly draw extraterrestrials to earth.
