We were compelled to engage in a series of expeditions to California, including a special visit to Joshua Tree, from February to December of 2015, to open up our understanding of CE5 as much as possible as well move our spotting and recording technology forward. These expeditions also involved more one-on-one talks with members of the LA UFO Channel, many of whom who had contact experience.
On a handful of these expeditions we not only experienced a form of contact but were also able to record these anomalies, in high definition. One was ‘jellyfish’ in shape, and recorded using a camera system with a 2000 mm optical zoom. It demonstrated very unique aerial characteristics, that defied real explanation. From Rob’s balloon piloting experience, there was an understanding that the air currents are uniform at that level, and anything that would be moving along in those currents, all parts of the object would all be moving at the same speed.
Some scientists propose that there are low, density-changing creatures in the atmosphere, or ‘cloud animals’, originating in interstellar gas clouds, so that they are, in effect, aliens without a native planet, able to "swim" through space. It remains as one of our more unique sightings.
We also conducted live interviews with several UFO contactees, who not only detailed past sightings, but new unidentified objects also manifested themselves during our time with them. We were able to record and discuss these sightings in detail and our own investigative instincts started to form. Many of the contactees have made it their life mission to share their experiences with the world, and this it itself, we found to be very inspiring.
On our last trip, we spent a considerable amount of time with Efrain, who recounted many of his contact experiences. As the sun set, we also recorded a bright object that was moving slowly below a mountain range, as it slowly faded from sight. We truly felt that the ordinary were experiencing the extraordinary in the skies over California. We were hooked and it was time to go to the next level!
